About Us

James 'Jake' Swaim founded Swaim Ornamental Iron Works in 1950 behind his house. The company grew and moved to Waughtown Street in the late 1950's.

Don Swaim started helping his father in the 1950's until he joined the Army. After his service, Don returned to the family business in 1956.

We are still a family owned and operated business. Don's son Trent and daughter Tandi strive to maintain the same quality and dependability that has made the company respected in the community for so many years.
